What is a watershed?
An area of land that drains all streams and rainfall to a common outlet such as another stream, river, reservoir, or ocean. You are standing in a watershed right now. There can be multiple streams, rivers, and lakes that form a watershed. Everything we do on the land impacts our watersheds.
